There are those women who have a desire to be real. I mean really real in a god honoring way. In a way that help grow, encourage and heal women of past hurts etc. Recently we began to advertise a day long seminar entitled "Let's Get REal" it wasn't very well received. I was left with wondering if women really want to 'get real'. After thinking about it for a while I realized that women are not going to open up and stop hiding until they feel safe, until they know the women are going to accpet them where they are. We have a long way to go...but at least I think we are headed in the right direction.

As a mom of three girls, I have wrestled with this vaccine and finally did what I always do when struggling with a moral decision. I went looking for information. This vaccine only prevents a few types of HPV and may actually leave a woman MORE vulnerable to the more fatal types of HPV. Not much help if that's the case. I talked the issue over with my 16 year old daughter. Granted, she hates needles. But she told me that she would be uncomfortable taking the vaccine if it was offered in an oral form that didn't involve getting a shot. And for those that a medication must be great if doctor's are recommending, I would remind us all of the drug that was used to cure American soldiers of their addiction to opium. At the time, it was seen as such a salvation that they gave it a nickname that seemed to fit it's heroic actions - heroin.

My ex recently posted Pslam 55 as his status message on chat, he's been going through tough times and he seems to always be angry at the world around him. To him everyone is an enemy. The other day I tried asking how he was doing. And he lashed out at me, saying that I don't really care about him and that I'm just asking so that I'd feel better about myself. I really want to help him, but he's driving people away. And I think this passage is directed towards me (I'm guessing he still has me in mind... although he is the one who ended things between us because he doesn't want me to suffer being with him and all that). So I was just wondering if anyone of you knew of certain passages that might be helpful in this case? Maybe something inspired and not so angry?

Thanks for the encouragement! It is a question I have struggled with quite a few times over the past year or so.

What a profound post my friend! I had never actually reckoned that question ("what does redemption really look like...?") until just now... you are right! When trial and opposition comes our way, we are always on the lookout for a scapegoat - we think we NEED someone to cast our blame and shame upon, but really, its when we are at our worst moment, that God is nearer and is holding such marvelous things in the palm of His hand. We just have to lift up our faces and give all to him.
Thank you for reminding me where my focus should ALWAYS be!
Christ's peace to you,
- Jo

alright,...that's more like it.....

First of all,...anyone who's anybody knows that the molarity of a solution containing 33.6g kcl with a total volume of 250ml's the correct molarity would be 50,000 btu's (British Thermal Units) per sqare inch to the true position run-out factor of plus or minus .002....taking into consideration, of course, the 7 degrees that would be required for "breathability"....of course, then the molarity would be subject to change by the required tenths needed when a Findlay sprinkler head (with 7 inch head) is employed.....Use the Findlay sprinkler head and the whole playin' field changes, sister!...Then,....THEN!...what you got in regards to the molarity of the 33.6 g kcl is a micron escape factor of .005....or,.... to the lay person...5 to the power of 30.....holding, of course, the plus or minus .002 runout factor which,...as we all know,...can be a real pain in the duff when it comes to true position and concentricity.....you know....when it's installed in the plane's engine.....keeping in mind, the 17 degrees needed for relief.....when fitted.

C'mon, J....you know this...I don't need to tell you this.

Second of all, I didn't see no stinkin' e-mail contact. Where's the contact?

I read the lament....love a good lament.

(I actually read it twice now.....I'm gonna go read it in MY bible and see that translation....I read the NIVFM translation....it's the "New International Version For Morons".....I like that particular translation. My wife bought it for me....it's the "See Spot Run" version....heraled by "Focus On The Family" as bein' "the translation of a new generation"....)

"Jeremiah was very angry!...See his face turn red? He does not like himself very much, does he"?

Later.
