Ingrid and Ken, at it again!!!!

Ok, let me see if I get this right. Christian Research Network isn’t happy with Pentacostals, Emergents, or Evangelicals. Hmmm…who does that leave?

ug. i don’t get how these guys can say this stuff. i guess it is one thing to say that you just interpret the texts differently. but to say that CBE worships a whole other god?
a good friend of mine is the youngest female lead pastor in our denomination. listening to her stories from seminary and how male students treated her pissed me off.
i dono, i think there are some folks who are too scared to reason with.
Mike, I think you are right. They are scared. …scared of having their apple carts upset, scared to realize they may be wrong, and perhaps too scared to have to find out they should be loving people so different from them.
I always wonder about people like these guys [having been a former one in an earlier life] and wonder what level of engagement is worthwhile/constructive/loving - mostly i don’t read/interact so ignornance allows me to escape most of it but where i do find it i tend to thank people for being concerned enough for me as an emergent christian for writing it and to appreciate their best intentions… who knows maybe they are right, at least some of the time about some things and especially for some people - maybe more often than I am…
