meant staying safe inside the foxhole of church buildings and structures.
Forgive me for being immersed in baptisms, buildings and budgets…
and missing renewal, restoration and reconciliation.
Forgive me for believing that saving people from sin is infinitely more important…
than freeing them from the yoke of injustice, oppression and poverty.
Forgive me for sacrificing grace…
on the altar of piety.
